They, specifically Dakota, did our taxes back in 2021, and it’s been a constant stream of letters and fines from the IRS since then. It’s strange because 2021 wasn’t the first year that we had worked with them, but apparently they decided they didn’t want to do their job anymore. Unable to contact them, no help with getting this all fixed, just stay away if you don’t want to have to deal with the IRS for years and years.

2024 update- just got ANOTHER letter from the IRS stating that we owe them $1,000 from 2020 taxes. We’ve paid literal thousands in late fees and back taxes and they just keep piling up. I’m literally begging you to find a different accountant. Please please please, whatever you do, don’t use Curtis or anyone affiliated with him or his office! Terrible communication. cost me thousands in late fees. would not recommend to anyone

My husband hired Dakota to do his 2020 taxes. We provided all the needed support to Dakota in January. We would call Dakota weekly and got no response from Dakota until APRIL! Dakota finally got back to us and “filed our taxes.” We have now received over $500 in fees from the federal and state government because different required tax forms were not turned in, but the amount was paid. Dakota and CR Curtis have not taken any of our calls or responded to our emails about this. 100% the worst professional experience we’ve ever had. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Craig and Dakota do good work when they actually get around to it, unfortunately they rarely get around to it. The past 2 years have been a complete nightmare trying to get my taxes filed. I had to pay the IRS thousands because of late fees and interest due to Dakota and Craig made mistakes filing my taxes, and not communicating, despite dozens of phone calls, voicemails, emails, and texts. I will never be using them again and admonish others to take their business elsewhere.

Maybe if I leave this review they will finally contact me about my taxes. Terrible communication, they do a good job when they actually do them though . I will be taking my business and everyone I have referred to you else where.

Craig came highly recommended by friends of ours when we were looking for an accountant to help us set up our LLC. As first time business owners, we needed all the help we could get. Two separate times he had to redo it because he couldn’t get the name right, he messed up my personal taxes as well as my daughters but we were able to look passed that. After paying a lot of money to Craig for his services we opened up for business believing everything was on the up and up. Soon after that Craig stopped answering my husbands phone calls and every time he would try to stop by the office, the doors would be locked even though there would be cars in the parking lot. My husband left multiple messages for him never receiving a single call back. Recently we had to go to Logan city to switch our business license over to open a store and in doing so we needed to provide our sales tax number. That is when we learned that our business has never had a sales tax number registered. Now we are having to start this process all over from the start. We learned we are also not the only business he has done this to because the employee at Logan City asked us if we knew how to get in touch with Craig because they have 2 other business owners right now that he has taken money from and never followed through with what he was paid to do. He will not answer any phone calls, and is also hiding from them. This is extremely frustrating. I’ve worked in customer service my entire working life. I understand things happen out of our control. I have never left a bad review for anyone and leaving one now is the last thing I want to be doing. But, we gave this company 1200$ for a job and that job was never done. The very least he could do is come out of hiding and talk to us and the other 2 business owners he has screwed over (that’s only the 2 I know about) I can’t imagine someone staying in business very long when this is how they do business.
