I run a non-profit organization. Contacted Steve in Jan, 2023 to file our taxes. He would not return my calls. Left a message in April and again in August concerning my tax returns. Final in December, I get a $3000+ fine from the IRS for filing late. A month later, he sends me a form for Power of Attorney so that he could appeal the fine. There is no way that I would give him PoA over anything. DO NO USE Maund to do your taxes.

Deserves zero stars. Steve purchased this business from my accountant, she was amazing. I stuck around for the last 3 years because I'm loyal. However, this guy never communicates, at all. I've been trying to reach him about my returns for 8 months. I called last week and spoke to him. He said he'd call me back the next day, nothing. I just found out he never bothered to file our returns. He goes through tax preparers like water. Everyone quits. Now I can see why. Do not use this guy for anything. Especially if you have rental properties and a small business. He's not worth having to owe the irs penalties. Get someone that actually returns your calls!
