Sharla has been doing our families taxes for well over a decade and has always been amazing to work with. She does get swamped during peak season, but has really saved our bacon a few times.

I initially reached out to Bend Tax service the first week of January to inquire if they could assist me with a 2017 tax issue. I quickly got a response from Sharla Harris, and within two days we had the ball rolling as I provided her with all information she asked for and needed to correct the previous return (this was January 5th, 2023). I followed up within two weeks, and never heard anything. Then I followed up a week later, and she reported to me she's been "unusually busy this time of year". I asked her if she had the time to add this to her workload, as this is an important matter to me to get resolved. She never responded. I reached out four additional times over the course of a month, with no response. I started to wonder if she died. She has been working on my tax return for over two months with absolutely no progress, and only two efforts of communication (one that she's been busy, and one that she was was on the phone waiting to hear from the IRS). I got curious and looked her up on Facebook, as I've never met this woman, and wanted to see if she was legit, as this was starting to feel scammy. And she is a dedicated Facebook poster, shares reels constantly, indeed IS alive- just has poor communication and clearly doesn't prioritize her clients and their needs. I should have had a hunch with only one Google review, there's not much to go off of here. I wish I could include photos/screenshots of my constant efforts to make contact with her, but for some reason I can't upload them with my review. I have since gone with another tax company located in Redmond, and had my issue resolved within two weeks.

Sharla is very helpful and always gets me the most back on my tax return!
