Rude and unhelpful! Three weeks ago, I scheduled a 30-minute phone call with Michelle Musacchio. The receptionist told me she would be out of town for a few weeks, which was fine. Before I booked the consult, I explained the circumstances around my W2 question to her receptionist. I clarified that I did not need help filing my taxes (which would cost $700). I've almost completed my tax return, but I have a tax question about a W2 I received from a former employer. The receptionist assured me that Michelle could help answer my question, but the 30-minute phone call would cost $150 to $200. I was totally fine with this and agreed to pay her for the W2 advice. Michelle has excellent reviews, so I was excited about the call. I requested to be off work for this afternoon's phone call. Today, Michelle called, and we talked for precisely one minute before she hung up on me. She said she "doesn't give out tax advice for free, and [I] need to call the IRS about a question regarding a W2." I explained that her receptionist told me she could help with my W2 question. I told Michelle I expected to pay $150 or $200 for our 30-minute consult and did not expect free help. She said she would only help me with my tax question unless I paid $700 for tax preparation. She did not offer me time to explain my tax question, so she didn't even know why I called. She did not apologize for the confusion or not being able to help. She seemed offended that I wasted one minute of her time. I apologized and told her I was misinformed or wouldn't have scheduled this call. She said Uh-huh then CLICK. Overall, it was a garbage experience. I waited three weeks for zero help and a one-minute call. I'm unsure why the receptionist even offered a 30-minute phone appointment for a consultation. I was super clear about my tax issue when I made the appointment and explained the circumstances of my question for a few minutes before we booked the call. I was super nice on the phone, so the rudeness caught me off guard. 0/10. I would not recommend Fit Money CPA or Michelle Musacchio to anyone needing tax or accounting help. I could've called the IRS weeks ago and for free. I wanted an accountant's opinion, which Michelle does not offer even for $200. Also, $700 to file taxes for a small business is reasonable; it's not what I needed personally. Annoying!

I am a licensed psychologist in solo practice. Anyone in that situation knows we have to wear a bunch of hats, and sometimes the admin stuff can be just draining. I know that we cannot endorse any business. But I can sure share my experience. I have been a client of Fit Monday for almost 9 years now and I wouldnt trade them for anything. Michelle and her team are wonderful to work with. In our business dealings, we expect professional competence, just as our clients and patients expect that from us. But the extra mile - the human part -- is also very important, and these folks are always responsive and always available. They are reasonably priced and I know that they save me money. The important part for me is that they also save me mental energy that I badly need to devote to my own clients. And to me that is at least if not more important than just counting dollars.
