I had left a message but no longer needed an appointment when Patrice called. She answered some other questions about veterans benefits and she gave good advice. I would definitely schedule an appointment with her for next any tax assistance as needed. She was very nice and helpful on the phone.

Sorry to be rude, but sometimes the truth is what it is. I called to ask if they handle S-Corps, I was told to book a consult for $300. I again asked specifically can you tell me if your CPAs process 1120S forms, 401(k), and have worked with Defined Benefit Management companies because not every CPA knows these or feels comfortable doing them. I know a CPA that wasnt that experienced in them and finding out turned out to be the reason I didnt have one sooner. She again said you can book a consult... I cut her off and said no thanks and hung up. I dont need a consult with your CPA if they cant do what I need, and not answering a simple question as to whether or not you handle my particular need means I cant believe the business is competent. Perhaps you dont need my business, but if you are struggling to grow your practice Id suggest a better front desk helper. In my opinion, they should be knowledgable enough to know what the CPAs at this office can do. It is calls like these that result in replacing call centers with robots because they at least are expected to not have the abilities to do more than what they were programed to do. Please educate your call center with what your services are not just your hourly rates. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I dont know how to reply to your thread so Ill just add it below. I only told her that I had been an LLC sole proprietor and converted to an S-Corp this year retro-actively. It was a statement to give her the facts of my status so then my question regarding tax services would be answered for my particular request before wasting a CPAs time or my own. This is the first year having to handle the 1120S and I have been doing our taxes up until this point. Now with the company aspect of taxes + retirement through the corporate side I wanted to make sure I was doing it right and if your office would be skilled in this area. I appreciate your timely response it shows you definitely care about your online reviews. I bumped my rating to a 3 to account for your timely response. I still stand by my original point that I felt like I was inquiring on services you offer by giving information on my situation and was greeted with just book a consulting appointment repeatedly by the third time I knew I wasnt going to get a different response. It isnt how Id like to be talked to when looking for a CPA. My company and personal information are vitally important so having that warm and helpful greeting is very important to me to feel inclined to move forward with a consult. I wish you the best and hope my review helps you and others. If it is a problem surely others will review and if not then perhaps Im the odd one out.
