It's great working with Aarti. She's easy to talk to, and clear with explaining certain tax documents and information that can sometimes feel confusing. I like being able to get on a quick call to talk through some of those confusing parts and she's great at finding the time for me when I need it. I was lucky to find TaxShy and Aarti Gumber to help me with an IRS audit/review of my 2019 taxes. It was a reporting misstake by the retirement fund company. Aarti was knowledgable, professional, confident, competent and well organized. She had the correct plan on how to properly comunicate with the IRS. She was able to identify the error and correct it with the retirement fund company... She has an extensive knowledge of the IRS proceedures which helped bring the review to a swift conclusion. It has been a very humbling experience filing taxes for the first time in US and without Aartis help, that wouldnt have been possible. We werent completely aware of the complexities of our case which included filing our finances from India. We didnt have a lot of time on our hands too, but Aarti helped us thoroughly in our filing. I consulted with my brother-in-law Chris Strand, who is one of the most respected tax CPA's in the Seattle area. I was appointed as a Co-Personal Representative for my mother's Colorado Estate. I needed a CPA to file the 1041's for my mom's estate for 2019 and 2020. I had also run into some problems with previous returns for my mother and had to file amended returns for 2017 and 2018. I wanted someone local to work with rather than a CPA in Colorado. Chris recommended Aarti G. at TaxShy because he had previously worked with her at one of the big CPA firms in Seattle and was very impressed with her work. Since I hired Aarti she has helped me navigate the IRS inquiries into the 2017 and 2018 amended returns. She finished the 2019 and 2020 Estate form 1041 very quickly, so they are filed and refunds are on they way! Every step of the way - great communication, fast responses and very knowledgeable about the Estate process. I will continue to work with her until the Estate is closed. IRS delays are the problem now.... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
