Extremely Unprofessional and Negligent I had a deeply disappointing experience with The Accounting Factor. In early 2022, Juliet Demars filed my taxes, claiming three of my children as dependents. She assured me that my ex-wife had agreed to amend her tax return to reflect the correct dependents. Based on this assurance, I filed my taxes by mail. Later, Juliet confirmed that the amendment was filed and pending, attributing the ongoing audit of my 2022 taxes to this pending amendment. Despite these assurances, I received an IRS audit notice for my 2022 taxes in late 2023. When I contacted The Accounting Factor again, I was transferred to another accountant who reassured me that the ongoing audit would not affect my new filing for 2023. However, I was subsequently audited for 2023 as well. Throughout 2023 and early 2024, I made multiple attempts to resolve this issue. The Accounting Factor provided contradictory information and refused to handle the matter fully, advising me to wait for the IRS audit to be resolved or seek legal action through a tax attorney. Their final response dismissed their previous commitments and misrepresented their actions, claiming no adjustments were made to my ex-wife’s 2022 tax return and suggesting they could not facilitate amendments on my behalf. Additionally, I received multiple notices from the IRS stating that I owed over $11,000 in back taxes due to disallowed tax credits. Despite sending these notices to The Accounting Factor, they failed to resolve the issue, leaving me with significant financial stress and uncertainty. I strongly advise against using The Accounting Factor due to their unprofessionalism, negligence, and the severe financial burden they have caused me.

We only gave one star because it makes us give one.. this place was amazing enough for me to send 6 people to and open 2 company's not only that but I work in service and see 3 new people everyday and I've referred them for over 2 years to come here for taxes.. But this Year was a crazy.. right when we arrived all the office staff have been rude and was trying to push us right from the beginning.. trust me this place is not what it was, I can go through and break it down but honestly there's to much to break down.. a few things tho #1 thing is supposedly someone hung up on them last year ( last year ). #2 supposedly my partner swore at some point. #3 asking to hand the paperwork to the taxe prep instead of email them is rude in her eyes. #4 don't mention Juliette at all or it will set everyone off.. ( Juliette was amazing and it's sad she went somewhere else.. if u see this please contact us I would love for u to do all my taxes and send people ur way ).. but for the accounting factor definitely now think twice. Honestly if the staff has a issue it's very unprofessional to scold ur client/customer for there personal feelings. The professional thing is to just do ur job and that's it..

Be very careful of filing during the busy season. If they make a mistake on your return, they either require you to redo your taxes yourself OR wait till the busy season is over to start again, which in my case is at the end of March (it's Feb 22 today). The accountant, Rome, who filed my taxes refuses to call me back. No one will speak to you after you pay them. I'm sure that most people's tax experience is fine, but if you have multiple years or a more complicated return, I would NOT recommend coming here. I've been here for years and this will be my last year. I will also be letting my very large extended family know (who all use this company currently) not to come here anymore.

I have been getting my taxes done at The Accounting Factor for many years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff is so friendly and professional. Here's to many more years to come. Thanks Rome and Peng and everyone else there for an incredible job you guys do.

Filed my taxes here and it was amazing!! Juliette helped and she was great. We were in and out in 45 minutes. I would highly recommend! We got a great refund. The tax fee for us was $125. We will be doing our taxes here next year and the many years to come!!!

A good thing can't last forever. I had a great experience with this group last year- thorough, friendly, and timely. This year is a complete disaster and I've heard a similar story from friends who also use them. They squeeze so many appointments into a day that each of their employees have no time to address potential issues with returns. There were very few discovery questions asked during my session so there were items missed (good thing I checked). Trying to contact them if you have any discrepancies with your return has been a nightmare- 3 weeks and I still can't get anyone to address the issues. They're all too packed with schedules that they don't even have 5 minutes to make a correction. I'm still waiting to see if we'll get things resolved, but I already paid them so it's likely my return is late this year due to them. I won't be working with them again and I'll be pointing my group of friends elsewhere as well.

This is the spot. The price is unbeatable and the service is even better. Peng is the one to talk to. Patient, knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions without making you feel dumb. Will never let anyone else touch my taxes
