We have used these guys two years in a row and both experiences have been horrible. First year they took our information and didn’t contact us at all. This year they took a long time to respond to any questions we had. Instead of being able to call in and just talk or sit down for a consultation they dragged out our taxes for 3 weeks because the cpa assigned to us only responded once a week via portal. I eventually had to call in because they filed our taxes without our consent because the cpa we were assigned decided they were done. He also argued with me on being a w2 employee when I haven’t been since 2019. Clearly he was just trying to do as many taxes as possible without actually looking into anything. Instead of working with us for an itemized deduction he insisted on a standard even though we had paid out of pocket for schooling and clearly would have benefited from the itemized. At this point I’m expecting an audit because of how poorly everything was handled. Use these guys at your own risk!

Five years ago I moved our business and personal accounting business to Valentine CPA after spending decades with larger firms. Why? We were spending a lot more for CPA services and getting a lot less. I couldn't be happier with Ron and his team! They handle tax returns for several businesses, personal tax returns, plus bookkeeping and payroll for our growing dental practice. I have done my S-Corp taxes and payroll with them for about the past year. I have never received an invoice for services rendered or paperwork about taxes filed. Recently, I had a rather large sum debited from my business account with no explanation from their firm or invoice explaining the services rendered. Absolutely none. No beforehand transparency about fees or even invoices for services rendered. I'm switching and requesting an accounting of their accounting before I proceed with further action.
