I have been using Marci Shafto for over twelve years taking care of my tax preparation needs. I have long term and short term rentals; and a couple other small businesses, so I need help. I give them six (6) stars on the following: quickly and effectively understanding your situation, tax knowledge, tax strategy, asking the right questions, digital data or form submission, and accuracy. I typically have a meeting with Marci in Nov to discuss and forecast my taxes so that no meat is left on the bone (like IRA to Roth rollovers etc.). However, they are not perfect! I give them four (4) stars on communication or a lack of. When it's tax season, communication can be a delayed, and on one occasion there was NO communication when there should have been. In one particular case, they issued an extension without even telling me causing confusion about WHEN I should pay ... blah blah blah. Not a big deal but did cause a little frustration on my end. At the end of they day Marci is very good at what she does and is the absolute best bang for my buck.
