I used Cameron for personal as well as my wife's business taxes. Cameron was quite unresponsive which was frustrating to say the least so I decided to move away from them starting with the 2022 tax season. Turns out, in addition to being unresponsive, Cameron made a number of mistakes on my 2021 personal taxes. Just received a notice from IRS and those mistakes are going to cost me in penalties and interest. I'm curious to see how he responds to this review.

Do NOT recommend using Hollis CPA as your accounting firm. They have horrible communication skills, will charge you premium prices for every single little thing, never discussed ways to save or help with tax deductions, and also filed an extension for our tax returns without our permission or without notice because his wife had surgery. Then upon telling him we were moving to a different state and needed help with transferring our LLC, he told us we would have to find another CPA to help since his services would no longer be used. Definitely does not care for his clients.

Hollis CPA firm is thorough and does a phenomenal job at preparing one's taxes properly. They are undeservingly patient with someone who needs to provide more information and are highly professional. I would recommend them for your tax prep needs!

They recommend something when you arent exactly sure what you are getting into, end its costs me thousands of dollars. Also I requested a refund return in hopes of getting a mortgage loan , they never replied to the loan officer and since they arent getting any money from me anymore, they arent ever going to assist in getting tax documents Ive already paid for. I just moved into a place as a roommate and I couldnt find any of my hard copies. Thats why I needed their help. I would suggest getting another company to assist you in your taxes. They are not humble, caddy people to say the least.

They were highly recommended by a friend...stop by the office and spoke to the front desk person who informed me that they are not taking any new clients for the 2020 year and if I needed to file an extensionfor tax preparation that they would be able to assist me with that...which I found to be odd however I did not speak to anyone regarding their services, just enquired of their services

I have been with multiple CPAS, sometimes long term. Like, a decade long-term. They sent me up faster and taught me more about running my business and doing things more effectively than anyone else. Im a touring musician and sometimes people dont know what to do with me. They have it down to a science. Honestly, it has taken the stigma away from taxes because they prepared for me for them, got me on quickbooks, and made sure Im in the best financial shape of my life. go to them.
