We have been with Paula Field, CPA firm for several years now and love her and the team. We received a penalty from the IRS in October of 2022 close to 50k due to masked SS/EINs for 2020 1099s. We responded to the notice which they quickly came back and said the penalty was still being enforced. Paula and her team stepped in and prepared a very thorough response and was able to get our penalty abated. It took several months and a great deal of hard work but they fought for us which we are so very thankful to have someone looking out for our company. We highly recommend her and her team for accounting and tax needs.

UNPROFESSIONAL and OVERPRICED This is my experience and why I chose not to do business with Paula CPA and would not recommend them. I was in search of a CPA because I received a notice from the Texas Comptroller saying I owed an estimate of 1,000$ on my LLC’s taxes. I called Paula CPA several times to get more information about their services and was told Sandra would call me. More than a week goes by and I receive a voicemail from Sandra. After discussing my situation she explained to me I have to close out my LLC otherwise I will continue to receive fees from the Texas Comptroller. This would cost me at least 500$ + additional fees for backed taxes and filing my taxes. They were looking to charge me 1,500 to 2,000 to do business. After our conversation I called the Texas Comptroller and explained to them my situation. They explained to me to that I owed 50$ and that’s because I didn’t file my taxes for the LLC. Had I filed my taxes for the LLC I would not have paid a dime because my business didn’t exceed a certain dollar amount in revenue. Although the staff was very friendly and easy to talk to, in conclusion I found my conversation with Paula CPA unprofessional and overpriced. Negative Responsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

I called them 6 times over a 2 month period. Left messages with secretary and never received a call back. Very unprofessional! Get your taxes done elsewhere. Negative Responsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
