I have attempted to get infomation pricing and a clear understanding of why I was qouted around 7k for taxes with a bookeeper that does not do bookkeeping. Although in qoute clearly states I would be paying for bookkeeper around 350 a month. They use quickbooks but it's not part of the price. I was also quoted for tax planning but told right from the get go they would be determining my estimated payments with out even looking at my financials and I guess they do not implement any tax strategy or leverage any tax codes. So must be just filling standard deductions and standard forms. Do they work for clients or the IRS? Tax planning consists of a few phone calls to reveiw the reconciled reports that you pull yourself from quickbooks and send to them. I was told they do not make any corrections. Sure seems like I was qouted 7k to do my own taxes. I questioned this and was told I would get a response in 2 weeks when onboarding person returned from vacation. I never got a response and has been about a month. There is nothing that is based off your business whether it's one person or multiple employees. I know if I'm paying this amount, I want a tax team on my side saving me the max amount on my taxes so I'm not giving my hard earned money away to Uncle Sam. I rather reinvest into our community.

Chuck and the staff at Gift CPA’s are always professional, complete things in a timely manner, and explain everything in detail so you understand what is happening each step throughout the tax preparation process.
