I've been a client of Apparatus for over 6 - months now and I can certainly say, if you're in construction, you need a team like this to stay on your books. Misty, has held my hand through countless meetings to ensure I get what Information I need to make educated decisions in my business. They've implemented to software and tools free of charge to me simply because it's the best thing for my business. I've already reccomended Apparatus to multiple colleuges of mine. There are very few firms who understand contractors and cater to their needs. Apparatus understands contractors.

Great people but lack of support and very slow responses. They are more reactive than they are proactive and never seem to be able to keep our bank information so we constantly have to give them information instead of them taking what they need, as discussed. Emails take weeks to get response back. I can’t recommend

We signed up for their Gold package and they were unable to get our books transitioned and operating over the course of 4 months. Seems like they take on more clients than they have the ability to support.

I must express my profound disappointment with the bookkeeping services provided by this company. As a contractor, I rely heavily on accurate financial records to run my business smoothly. However, my experience with this firm has been anything but smooth. It took me quite some time before I could bring myself to write this review, as I wanted to ensure that the issues created by this company were properly addressed and rectified. Unfortunately, the journey to resolution has been an arduous one. From the outset, it was clear that there were serious errors in the bookkeeping they conducted for my business. Not only did these errors lead to unnecessary complications, but they also had the potential to harm my financial standing. It was a painstaking process to untangle the mess they had made, and I had to invest a significant amount of my own time to correct their mistakes. What disappointed me even more was the lack of accountability and urgency displayed by the company. It seemed that I was the one constantly following up and pushing for a solution, rather than them taking proactive steps to rectify their errors. This lack of professionalism further exacerbated the frustration I was experiencing. After much effort and persistence on my part, I was finally able to get my financial records back on track. However, this was only achieved after multiple rounds of back-and-forth communication and a considerable investment of time and resources. I want to be fair and acknowledge that eventually, the company did take steps to address the issues and offer some form of compensation for the inconvenience caused. However, the fact that it took such a herculean effort on my part to reach this point is truly disheartening. In the end, I am left with a sour taste in my mouth and a sense of disappointment that I cannot shake. As a contractor, my time is precious, and I cannot afford to waste it on fixing someone else's mistakes. I sincerely hope that this review serves as a cautionary tale for others considering their services. While they may eventually make amends, the toll it takes on your business and your peace of mind is simply not worth it. I write this review not out of spite, but out of a genuine desire to share my experience and hopefully prevent others from going through the same ordeal. My hope is that this feedback will prompt the company to reflect on their practices and strive for better accountability, accuracy, and professionalism in the future.

Apparatus has been providing bookkeeping services for our paving company for 2 years. We have been very pleased with the results. I recently used a bookkeeping firm for my business needs, and I have to say that I was thoroughly disappointed with the service provided. The promises they made were completely fake, and they didn't have enough staff to keep up with the workload. As a result, it took weeks to get even the simplest things done. I was initially drawn to this bookkeeping firm because of the promises they made. They assured me that they would provide top-notch service and that I would always be their top priority. However, once I signed up with them, it became evident that these were just empty promises. There is very long wait times for responses to emails and phone calls, and even longer wait times for work to be completed. It was frustrating to have to wait for weeks just to get something as simple as a bank reconciliation done. To make matters worse, the quality of work was subpar. It seemed like they were rushing to get things done, and as a result, mistakes were made. This resulted in even more delays and time wasted trying to correct their errors. I have also dealt with different bookkeepers, it looks like staff are leaving this company and not only clients. Overall, I was extremely dissatisfied with the bookkeeping firm. The promises they made were completely false. They are unable to deliver quality work in a timely manner. I would not recommend this firm to anyone looking for reliable bookkeeping services.

We‘ve found that Apparatus provides excellent service. Their staff is knowledgeable, proactive, and responsive. Since switching over to Apparatus in 2021 I can honestly say I sleep better at night knowing that our books are finally being handled properly. Our CPA recently told me that he has never seen our books this clean. We were assigned a bookkeeper who I have regular weekly 60 minute meetings with where I’m able to ask questions and they address any concerns. Response times for questions that come up outside of these regular meetings are always prompt. I would definitely recommend Apparatus.

I’ve been through several bookeeping companies over the years (all of them were decent) but, the service and attention that Apparatus provides is far and away the best. For the first time, I believe I will actually have books that are correct and up to date to show me what is actually happening within the companies financials. I was hesitant to switch again because it is a lot of work and time but, they make it easy and it’s one of the best decisions that I’ve made for the company. Thanks to Luke, Misty and Robin🙏🏻
