We moved our business to Schmitz-Holstrom this year with hopes of having an accounting firm that works with the client to find best strategic tax planning as well as explanations of tax law that is plain language and not "industry" language. I cannot express how happy we have been with Tonya and her staff. The transition has been seamless and they have provided the support our small business was looking for.

I taken my taxes here for two years but will not again. They send you out a 6 page questionaire to enter your tax info which easy if only a W2 and but not when you have multple income sources and not sure where to enter on questionaire. Isn't that why I am paying them? I did not know this until last year but they send your taxes out office to God knows where. Last year my taxes were not finished for over a month after April 15 resulting in a penalty since I owed taxes. I was told when I called they were waiting my taxes to be returned from where they send them out office and once returned looked over in office. This year finding new CPA office where they will meet with me and my taxes are done in office and in a timely matter like my prior CPA without a 6 page questionaire.

Very poor customer service, was almost impossible to get ahold of anyone who could answer questions. I would get a different person dealing with my taxes and accounting almost every month. My taxes ended up being almost a year late with many late fees that they would not cover.

This company bought out my old accountant and could not handle the new share of clients including myself and my business. No one to talk to to communicate with, took over 6 months to get my taxes back and they were not done correctly! Would not ever trust this business with my tax prep again!
