As a new business owner, I chose to seek out one of the areas top accounting firms. I didn't know the first thing about accounting for a business and was not interestedin doing this on my own. I however chose the wrong firm. Within the first 6 months I was fined by the irs because they did not submit my payroll taxes correctly. My taxes were done incorrectly by Mr griffin himself, they did not write off any of my new equipment or the build out of my space. I payed in for my taxes, after they were redone the correct way I received money back. Getting the information from the time they did do my accounting, as I obviously let them go, has been a nightmare. I highly suggest you avoid this firm Yes I was fined due to payroll taxes because when entering my information into the system my banking information was entered incorrectly, and when I brought up the letter from. The IRS I was told not to worry about it. I received 3 letters I brought to your attention, before I was fined. The money was their and you made the mistake. Also you never refunded me for my taxws despite your statement. You didn't charge me to amend then but that was also your mistake not mine.

Would not recommend this place again. I’ve been going here for a couple years, and it’s been fine up until this year. It’s been over a week and a half we filed and PAID. And there was a question our tax preparer had to ask Terry about. (This was Friday Feb 24th). We were told by Tuesday the 28th we’d hear back and should be good to go. I never did and started calling them a week later on Friday March 4th. Nothing back. Called a couple times Monday and later that evening was called back saying she still needed to go over it with Terry. I’d hear back from her on Tuesday the 7th. And it would be turned in by Wednesday the 8th (today). I never did get called back yesterday and I’m tired of having to call an follow through just to be told nothings been done. I’ve paid almost $200 for a service that I’ve not yet received. Im about to take it and just file myself at this point. I understand busyness but soon going on 2 weeks when it’s not anything from me they’re waiting on is getting ridiculous. I am also a paying customer but since I’ve already paid I guess it doesn’t matter to them. We will not be going back, and my parents have also stated they won’t be back after having issues as well with this same preparer. I had also asked the receptionist at one point if I’d be able to speak to Terry but I don’t think they ever gave him that message.

Griffin accounting helped me catch up on all my taxes. I recommend using them. They also communicate well.
