We were clients of Valley Tax for a couple years with no issue. I liked the small town feel and our initial preparer. We were given to another CPA, Jan, who for 2018 made a gross error when estimating and completing our taxes. She had estimated we’d owe $1800 which turned out to be over $8k and we just received yet another bill owing 2k more due to an error in tax preparation. When we met with her to discuss her error she acted shocked that we’d even come it to speak to her to learn more. We were told “yes I made an error in calculation”. $1800 to 10k? Pretty disparaging error.
