Very happy with my experience with Hogan-Hansen. I switched from another accountant that would never give me the time of day or work with me on how to prepare better for the following year, I was a client there for 5 years. Stephenie was very pleasant to work with at Hogan-Hansen and met with me and was very helpful! Very happy we switched.

SLOW AND EXPENSIVE!! If I could rate this a negative, I would. There fee's are entirely too much. I have been coming here for 4yrs now. Every year they go up. This year, they went up 40% from last year and taking 25% of my tax refund. It also took them over a month to complete my taxes. I had to contact for an update, which I was told they weren't done. I'm DONE! Next year, I would be paying over $1,000 for my tax...NO!!!!!

If want to avoid IRS penalties, use a different accountant. This group is quick with excuses, and slow with preparation. And after you get a dreaded IRS penalty letter, it takes more than a week and multiple requests to get a response.

- No follow up even if you asked for it. - If their are technical issues they will ask you to send your sensitive documents unsecured or to tell them the info over the phone. - Poor communication on several instances. The worst was that they, gave the impression that they had everything and that there were no concerns about meeting the deadline but then called the day taxes were due requesting additional items. Did not bring up doing an extension until after 4pm. - They sent a partial extension form, filled out incorrectly with no information on if they had filed it, how to pay for it or how to file it if they had not. I had specifically asked what all do I need to do for the extension. - still have not heard from them...

If I could do zero stars I would. This is the worst ran business I’ve ever encountered. A simple request of explanation of my return resulted in the owner physically throwing papers at me and screaming at me to go elsewhere. I will never return or recommend.

Our company utilized Hogan Hansen for payroll services. They went above and beyond for us. We enjoyed especially working with Stephenie Keat who is amazing. Her customer service and work quality is consistent and timely. I would highly recommend this company for Payroll services.

Owner and staff are demeaning. The estimate was given verbally, and never in writing. I’m being billed for services I didn’t order and what I needed, wasn’t completed but my bill was $2,000. The staff said they didn’t know what the bill was for, but they offered to take payment. Waste of time . Very unprofessional.
