I am a retired banker and also an Adjunct Professor from Cal-State Bakersfield, Ca. My wife and I escaped from communistic CA 2 1/2 years ago. Mr. Mower did our first tax returns for Idaho at that time. He was very concise and diligent and accurate with the returns. We recently received communication from the IRS stating we owed the IRS over $300,000 from the sale of our home in CA. He quickly replied by letter to the IRS in a professional manner letting them know that selling your home and buying a new home is not a taxable event in our case. I am very glad he was able to enlighten the error the IRS made with our 2021 taxes. It is good to have someone on your side, especially a CPA, when dealing with the IRS. As a footnote: The IRS has not responded to our reply from 6 months ago.
