If you want your taxes done in a timely matter don’t use this Company….I’ve been using them since they were a 1 person office now for some reason it takes them 2 months to do your taxes since getting larger..heed my advice don’t In there response they we're suppose to do an extension?????? what happened to that. I can't control when you get to my taxes and make me pay penalties that's on you and your employees. I was rest assured when I called several times there was no problem but I guess there was. Your emergencies are not my problem. Your job is to get taxes done no matter who's your working on.....period.....very disappointed and my taxes were not dropped off late period

Mindi has done our business and personal taxes for several years. She is a patient and kind person. She explains things very well and always makes my wife and me feel comfortable/reassured. About twice a year we typically bring several questions written down to ask her about our business and taxes and she always gives confident, clear and easy to understand answers. Easy recommendation!

I do not recommend this company for Tax Returns. I moved to Fort Myers in 2021 and was referred by a coworker. I filed my Tax Return with them last year with plenty of time and they filed an extension unbeknownst to me. I cut them some slack because I worked at a couple of different places so I had multiple W2s. This year I decided to give them another chance and again turned in my paperwork with plenty of time so no extensions were needed. I ALSO now work full time for Lee county so it was very straightforward W2. Unbeknownst to me an extension was filed AGAIN this year. I was then called to the office to sign the extension about 3 weeks ago. And when I asked why an extension was filed this time around I did not receive an answer, instead I was given attitude by an older lady that works there. Today I called to inquire about the status of my return as it’s been 3 weeks and I have not receive my refund and the receptionist (a younger lady) could not give me a straight answer as to my return being filed or not, she also had an attitude when I asked her to explain to me what was going on and all she kept on repeating was for me to check the IRS dot gov website AND that they had no control over that. She must’ve said the same sentence about 5 times. Both times I filed with the company I payed well over $200 for their “service” I am a single adult with no kids and a full time job. Not sure where the extra time to file my paper work is needed. I will be taking my business some where else. If you are looking for a place that is short of accountants and has rude staff, this is it. Completely ridiculous.

My experience with Mindy is very poor. I moved to Fort Myers in 2020 and selected another accounting firm to do my Taxes. Early this year I received notice that he closed his business. He referred Gateway Accounting & Tax Service and said Mindy was taking over his accounts. I made an appointment with Mindy for March 6 to review my Taxes. At the appointment I gave Mindy all my records which she never looked at. That meeting lasted maybe 15 minutes during which time Mindy said it would take 2 to 4 weeks for the returns. I called the office 3 times, March 25th, or the 27th, 2nd of April and again, the 9th of April. I asked to speak to Mindy and was put thru to her phone mail. No return calls. So, I went to her office on the 10th to picked up my records. The receptionist retrieve my records but, was curt and said that it takes 2 to 4 weeks for a return. My reply was "Mindy's had my records for 5 weeks and, she won't return calls." I do not recommend her for anything!!! John Cady Fort Myers, FL.

Mindi and her team have done my personal and business taxes for several years. She has taken my business to the next level! Very professional, knowledgeable and kind. She answers all my questions so I can understand and always has great tax and accounting advice. I feel secure that my taxes are filed correctly and I am working within best accounting practices for my business.
