Mr. Kaufmann has been an invaluable resource. I lost my dad and had trouble navigating the complexities related to filing taxes. I needed to file a one-time 1041 for my late sister's estate. I tried doing it myself but it was confusing. I couldn't find anyone locally who knew anything about it. The best information I could find on the 1041 was Dave's website. I hired him to file this form and all the other forms that go with it. He set up a fiscal year so I only have to do this once. The big surprise was a large capital loss he found that more than paid his fee! Highly recommended.

Mr. Kaufmann agreed to take on a fairly complicated estate income tax for me so that I could settle my mothers estate with my two siblings. Mr. Kaufmann's expertise in this type of tax situation was very apparent. Not only was he extremely professional, but he really took the time to explain how the taxes would be filed and what we should expect. The paperwork that Mr. Kaufmann gave back to me was very well organized and very professional, and even included a thumb drive with all my documents on it. I would highly recommend Mr. Kaufmann's services, especially in trust and/or estate matters.

I learned about Mr. Kaufmann after doing a google search. I needed an answer to a question about filing a 1041 form. I emailed him the question and received a very concise reply the next day. I had previously called other CPA firms and could not get past the receptionist to talk to a CPA because they were too busy. Thank you David for your prompt and courteous customer service!

Used his tax preparation services for over 10 years now. Extremely organized and deliberate in his work. Always knowledgeable and up to date. Very good at providing status reports by phone or email and very good about asking questions when he needs more info or is unclear about what I provided. Overall services are comprehensive and accurate. His fees are fair and a good value for the great service he provides.

I've had David prepare several years tax returns for me. He is incredibly knowledgeable and well informed about all of the latest tax laws and changes.
