I wish this firm was accepting new clients because the person who answered the phone was knowledgeable, sincere and the kindest person of all the firms I have tried to establish with on my search for help with my personal and professional finances.

I would like to thank the Ashman family for extending their help to me with my project. They welcomed me into their business and took time out of their busy schedules to help me out. Aside from being, at first, nice people, we found Ashman CPA to be careless, over booked, exhausted and ultimately rude. Like so many accountants they bragged about how busy and exhausted they were and how they hadnt slept in days. They lost paperwork, then blamed it on us, and took no responsibility, but in fact were very accusatory and outright nasty about it. In early March, Mark met with us, took no notes, then passed our files on to someone else we had never met to actually do the work. After providing all documents to Ashman almost six weeks in advance, our taxes were not even started until April 13th. At which time we first heard from this other person after having been lead to believe that Mark was handling our taxes. Additionally, they built a spreadsheet with incorrect fields providing inaccurate numbers from which we were basing our entire year. Overall, a very disappointing experience. Look elsewhere, or just pay $70 and buy TurboTax.
