Brian is very knowledgeable, and tells you like it is. I was very close to funding a business using ROBS financing, but after speaking to Brian, it was evident that ROBS financing was not in our best interest. Brian will give you an accurate assesment of using ROBS financing, not tell you what you want to hear (like the slick sales people at G****nt Financial). Brian thank you for saving me an exponential amount of time. Because we chose against ROBS financing, we couldn't use their on-going services unfortunately. He told us the truth, and lost a potential client because of that. Thank you for having a huge amount of preofessional integrity Brian!

In the process of expanding my existing business, the lenders recommended a ROBS account- this was my first exposure to the exact funding vehicle, so I did some homework. After consulting with half a dozen attorneys who were unfamiliar and several more CPAs, I found Baum CPA. Brian replied to my email and promptly returned my phone call to go over the specifics of my situation. If I had not reached out to Baum CPA, I could have easily made very costly mistakes. Updating my initial review to reflect the change in level of service I experienced with Baum CPA. I have since left Baum CPA and I regret the time and money that I invested in this firm. Being a first time business owner and getting the more salesy version of the firm, it seemed like a good fit. However, after being charged for simple tax questions (after being instructed to always reach out with questions) and excessive recurring monthly charges for a year, while managing my own payroll and categorizing expenditures, I can honestly say that it's much cheaper to do most of this work yourself with a more reasonably priced CPA firm. This was confirmed for me when I talked with other ROBS CPA firms that could not believe I was paying so much with Baum for the amount of work I had to do to on my end after seeing my books.

Brian Baum and Baum CPA are amazing. They work really hard to meet your accounting needs and he is very personable. Brian takes the time to call me and answer questions I have and he's very detailed in his explanations. Brian has been a Godsend. I did a ROBS 401k rollover and created a C-Corp to buy a business. Unfortunately, I found that very few CPAs are familiar with C-Corps and even fewer a familiar with ROBS 401k. One prospective CPA I called said C-Corp?! Yuck!. Finally, I found Brians website and Im so grateful that I did. Brian not only is familiar with ROBS 401k and C-Corps, its what he SPECIALIZES in. In talking with Brian, I learned so much in such a short time and hes guided me every step of the way to make sure Im not making any mistakes with my business or my taxes. Hes not just a CPA, hes also a knowledgeable business advisor who helps look out for my blind spots. I cant thank him enough for his help and support and I highly recommend any business owner with a C-Corp, and especially any business owner whos done a ROBS 401k, to get in contact with Brian ASAP.
