AVOID!!!!!! Evelyn is smart.... but very difficult to get a response from. Calls and emails are ignored. After one return I'm switching accountants.

I am a minister, and Cook’s website touted experience working with clergy. I took the bait, to the tune of an $1100.00 bill for my taxes. Once they got their money, they literally stopped all communication. I attempted to contact them 3 times via email and left 3 voicemails to Ms Cook herself. Never once did Cook contact me. Never, even from the beginning. It was all through an assistant, Heather, who apparently quit. After a total of 6 attempts at contacting Cook with questions, with literally no response, I am convinced that her company is shoddy at best, and now I worry whether my taxes will be botched. Do not use this company. It’s terribly disappointing when they boast of expertise and yet completely abandon their clients once they get their payment. Lesson learned.

I would highly recommend consulting with Cook CPA Group. My experience working with them was very efficient and it was clear that they cared about their clients. The quality services they provide should come at no surprise as Evelyn is well versed with many years of experience.

We are a small business of 35 employees operating in Roseville, and have worked with Evelyn and her excellent team at Cook CPA for many years. We came over to Cook CPA after several bad experiences with multiple 'upsell' accounting firms. We have been working with Cook CPA Group for many years now, and could not be happier. They are responsive, organized, and extremely knowledgeable. Professionalism at all levels is exemplary, and their recommendations have saved us a lot of money. We would highly recommend Cook CPA to anyone seeking to improve their outsourced accounting experience.
