Great place to have your taxes done! Kevin H. and the staff has always been wonderful to work with. I've been going here since I became self employed back in 2018. Kevin has guided me through the in's and out's of self employment taxes and maximizing returns over the years; as well as answered questions from my clients. I used them to do my 2021 taxes after a divorce. It involved a large settlement of my buy out of a family company. I was referred to them. Eventhough, i knew they wouldn't need everything I brought. I made sure to take every piece of paperwork that I had from the divorce settlement. The taxes where filed and the state sent me my refund. However, the federal return was flagged. Then soon after that, I received a letter from the state saying that I was being audited. I right away called this company to see what was going on. After checking into things. ( Which they charged me for ! ) they said that they didn't have all of the information from me. Which was not correct at all. So my preparer re-done my taxes. Which once again they charged me for. After that I found out, that because of his mistake I had to pay the state back. As for the federal return. It is now 3/3/2023 and I have yet to receive my return. This company is horrible and I highly recommend that you do not take your taxes to them. Unfortunately, it costed me over $1000.00 to find that out.

Was with Milkus Lofy who Sitzberger acquired. Had taxes done for tax year 2020 with them with no issues. I was waiting on 2021 information, but after not receiving anything, called up to only find out they closed the West Bend office in October 2021, never received any information. Was told they would send my information to me, but never received anything so, guess they dont want my business. Scrambling to find a new accountant now.

The company I work for has been using Sitzberger for many many years. Fred has always been professional and friendly. As well as accurate. We find their prices to be fair.

They overcharge then charge $100 more to fax one page that they didnt put in my return after I waited almost 10 months for my refund.

I will let you know how I do on this. They seem to be providing some good services and suddenly they disappeared 1st a few days then a few weeks, which I agreed to, but then suddenly mailed an exorbitant bill to my 96 year-old father - shockingly - and, with some misstatements, and misunderstandings.. The CPA and enrolled agent at their local office refused to clarify some major issues with the so-called "itemized" bill that I requested via Fred. There are other people who just took over management at the local office and some other issues there, so perhaps Fred is not so bad after all. We will see - and I will let you know if the company has a policy of discussing any problems of billing. Don't most companies have a problem-solving units rather than just collecting from two old guys, and unfairly so. So far it's kind of like elder abuse but if this changes after I talk further with Fred I will let you know that too.

I was a customer of Sitzberger up until 2014. I went there on the recommendation of another business leaving my long time accountant. Thought I had an agreement for what was included with my monthly charge with prices and services checked off on a nice little sheet they put together. It wasn't long and I started receiving charges for the things they had checked of on the sheet that was supposed to be included in my monthly charge. They gave me some song and dance that those were only suggested services I could take advantage of. Funny how they were only charging me extra for some of the services checked off but not others. After concluding the tax season with them, I went back to my old accountant and have been with them since. I would not have posted a review on them except now I received a letter in the mail stating THEY MAY HAVE EXPOSED SOME OF MY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO HACKERS. The gift that keeps on giving. Thank you so much Sitzberger. Oh yeah, the kicker is...they let me know 4 months after it happened.
