If I could give zero stars I would ! I gave BRUCE my taxes on 03/26/24 and went in to talk to him at the end of April, he wasnt in, but his assistant an older lady who was very sweet explained that he didnt do the taxes, but he files extensions and that I should be okay. When I talked to him on 06/12/2024, he finally explained to me how Much money I owe to the IRS and That I have until October to get the balance paid in full or I have the choice of getting on a payment plan. On July 16, I receive a letter from the IRS stating that I have been issued three different penalties because my taxes were filed late for one And that I had until June 29th to pay the balance before another penalty was added. I called BRUCE July 23 and explain to him that I receive penalties and without a doubt, he swept it under the rug and said that it's OK he will see me at the office on Friday at 10:30 AM and we can issue a penalty forgiveness and start some sort of payment plan on the money that I owe. I asked Bruce, whether or not he filed an extension for my taxes since he did not file them on time and he stated "I filed an extension on other peoples taxes, but I did not file them on yours" I asked him why he did not, and he goes to say "It didn't matter whether or not I filed the extension on your taxes the money that you owed would have been due, and you would still have a penalty" After speaking with the IRS and realizing what my penalties were for, they were literally for not filing my taxes on time & not having filed an extension. when I expressed this to Bruce to let him know my frustration and ask him why he did not inform me that he did not file my taxes on time and told him that communication is key & You should keep communication with your customers and he said " Yeah I should keep communication", then goes on to say "I don't have time for this. I have more important things going on." I go to his office on Friday at 10:30. The assistant tells me that she doesn't know anything about having a meeting at 10:30 scheduled with Bruce and that he is not in. I got back to the office at closer to 1pm and the assistant says that again she hasnt heard from bruce and she thought he would be in but he isnt and he didnt leave any information. So I left a note behind that she wrote up and it said have Bruce call me. I had an appointment scheduled with him at 10:30 and he did not show up. Has not called me on top of that. I called back at about 3:30 PM and his assistant said he is in an appointment. She'll take a message and have him call me back. He is clearly Ignoring me, this is some very terrible service, Bruce doesnt keep any communication and he is more focused on playing golf than he is doing others taxes. He is lazy, unorganized, & over booked to say that he files peoples taxes the paper way vs online. I would never go to this company to handle anything because it is terrible

Very unprofessional. Failed to submit our taxes as promised. Not competitively priced for sub par service. Find another accountant fir individual taxes. I can't comment on their business taxation business, as I have no direct experience.
