My husband and I used their services two years in a row because we own rental property in addition to our full time jobs. This past year, the communication was scarce and would ask for information that was already provided in the spreadsheets we used. When we expressed our frustration on the lack of clear instructions, the reply was “I’m sorry that you feel that way” which is a passive aggressive way to say “we don’t care” rather than addressing the issue. We’ll take our business somewhere else. They got two stars because at least our taxes got filed… eventually.

Who you work with matters! If you have a business or portfolio you need AKK on your team. Working with a tight timeline AKK was able to prepare my tax filings. After purchasing a rental property and selling some stock, I decided it may be best to seek a CPA to handle my return filing this year. I can across Ana who exceeded my expectations. She is extremely knowledgeable in her profession. She informed me of exactly what she needed. Once she had everything she setup a call to explain in detail what everything on my return was, and how it affects the taxes I pay. Had I done it on my own through Turbo tax there is no way I would have caught the things she did. In turn losing out on a significant return. She also informed my of how I should manage my books for next year, as well as advised strategic ways to limit my tax burden going forward. Trusting AKK with my accounting is well worth what they offer!!
