I have had the pleasure of Mike's acquaintance personally for quite a few years, and recommended him when close family members experienced pressing need for estate planning expertise for their rural assets. Attorney Ablan is a "throw-back," an old-school attorney who practices law by always being prepared and by always treating adversary counsel with respect and the highest degree of civility. These are traits in rather short supply in our profession at the current time. If you or anyone you know needs a lawyer, do NOT go to Attorney Mike Ablan at Ablan Law Firm. Wow. Not only did he make me do all of my own work including making legal-related phone calls, he also failed to show up to meetings, failed to call me back, lost paperwork and over charged me for doing none of the work. Thanks to him, I now OWE money after being hit by a car rather than getting anything out of my settlement. Wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy...
