The actual preparation and filing of taxes is great. I usually go to multiple accountants due to the interpretative nature of tax law. Gintz always works with me and I end up with the best economic outcome with my taxes using them. Scheduling, however, is a pain. Sometimes they confirm your appt sometimes they don’t. Their assistant was out of town, so I had called the business 4 times and sent 3 texts and emails that weren’t responded to when I needed a reminder of our meeting time. Always just make sure you write your Time and date on your person instead of relying on them to communicate. The actual tax filing is the best though

I used Tina at Gintz accounting to help me with book keeping. I was excited to begin the process and explained the level of help I needed and expected. She happily took on my business and at first things seemed to be moving along fine. After some time, my multiple emails and calls were not responded to. I was left having to do massive clean up with the DOR. I hired them to do a job and the ball was dropped. When I asked for help I was left stranded. I highly recommend against using this firm.

I really wanted Gintz to work due to the good reviews. I used them for 2 years. They are extremely impersonal. It felt like a mill and they fail to respond to questions in a timely matter if at all. The last straw was when I tried to find out some information from Tina and she would only respond through a snarky receptionists who dished out wrong tax advise in a very rude way. As a former business owner for 30 years, I was appalled by the lack of professionalism. Find an accountant that cares. Gintz doesn't.

I moved to the area in 2015, and was looking for a tax pro to handle my stuff Which is a little more than the average return. I picked Gintz Accounting. Im still with them in 2021. Absolutely great, professional, but most of all competent service. Do yourself a favor And go there if you are looking for a serious tax pro. Oh yes, one more thing The prices they charge are very reasonable and money well spent. Chuck D

My first meeting with Jerry a few days ago. Im needing to make some changes and have been meeting with several different accountants, Jerry was professional, knowledgeable, very informative and easy to talk to.
