After trying several accounting firms, I found Vivian to be the GEM with the most in-depth EXPERTISE (she is exceptionally organized, meticulous yet astute and efficient in managing and solving complex accounting problems), outstanding AVAILABILITY (her response time is lightning-fast either in person, by phone or on-line), and utmost INTEGRITY (she is humble yet honest and dedicated in working for her client's best interest). Recently she recovered $262k for us from correcting an error made by a past accountant. Vivian has successfully handled my personal and business accounting for over a decade. Vivian Young of Young's Accounting has been handling my records for over 15 years. My husband was an electrical supervisor and we had a small company until he passed away. I have worked with 7 CPA's and 5 bookkeepers over the last 18 years as the owner of a small but steady business in Seattle. We connected with the "head partner" whom I hired for a year. Grace Young, sister of Vivian Young, the other head, is irresponsible at best - deceitful at worst. Because she continuously filed late returns for our company, we incurred over $1,000 in late fees. She not only tried to hide the fact that she made mistakes and refused to be accountable for her actions, but had the audacity to insist we pay for the penalties. Additionally she did not file the necessary paperwork for running a business - as we had hired her to do. We are disappointed, now paying additional thousands of dollars for another bookkeeper and CPA to clean up and fix the mistakes she's made. Not to mention - they are completely absent and refuse to meet and have regular calls or provide any reporting - despite promising to do so when they tried to get our business. We gave them a shot because they were new and wanted to support a local business. We regret the decision. There are many great accountants that are communicative and responsible. Look elsewhere.
