With the selling and buying of our houses now in the rearview mirror; As well as the shuffling around of funds in our various banks, 401k's and IRA's having been expertly handled by Kathy and her staff, our current tax situation seems to have reduced itself to a fairly uncomplicated exercise. Therefore, with only SSI and a small pension to account for and no real deductions to take, I have opted to do the taxes myself for 2020. However; If at any time we need Kathy's services again we won't hesitate to see if she would be able to retake on a very happy former client.

When you are a small business owner, you need an accountant you can trust and who will take the time and trouble to understand your individual circumstances. A good friend of ours reccomended Kathy to us and we have been extremely happy with her services. Our company found itself in a mess when our previous accounting firm failed to do their job and left our books an absolute disaster. Kathy and Katrina have done an incredible job not only getting our current books straightened out, but have subsequently reconstructed and fixed our previous year as well. My company was completing some work in a greenbelt on a property adjacent to Diversified Accounting Services. One of my employees, who shall remain nameless, left a $700 Chain saw in the green belt. The Owner of Diversified Accounting Services took a look at the completed work after my crew had left and noticed the abandoned chainsaw. She then picked the saw up, put it in a secure location, and tracked me down so that I could recover the saw that my crew didn't even know was missing. As a self employed person, I know that actions speak louder than words and unfortunately I also know that too many people would have just taken that saw rather than sought me out. When my accountant retires I will definitely be hiring Diversified Accounting Services to do my books as they've already proven their honesty and integrity to me.

Kathy Cervantes and her staff have helped me with my taxes for years, and they are thorough, cautious and helpful every time. Being self-employed, mine can be confusing, but they keep up on the most current rules and regulations so I don't have to myself.
