WAS a client for more than 25 years!! But, we've since learned that a few years ago she started passing her clients off to others in the office to be completed after meeting us in person, being the "face" of the business and taking down all our information. 2017 was our last year, because they E-filed our taxes before we had a chance to go over them with her, after waiting for more than 3 weeks to hear they were completed. When we finally got them back, all our 1099's were missing, her daughter had signed as preparer, and the date prepared was the wrong year. Since then, we've been audited by the IRS for our 2016 taxes, and found she had not had not included what we owed on our Social Security, and we found again that her daughter had actually signed as preparer. We are now paying the IRS our underpayment plus interest and penalties for that year. Her answer was that we could take that off this years price for her to do our taxes. Like we'd go back after all that. Since then, we've found out our 2016 Virginia State taxes WERE NEVER PROCESSED. Chris used to be the best, but never ever again. We regret every recommendation we ever made to our friends and business associates. We are currently waiting to be notified of the inevitable audit of our 2017 taxes.
