Last year was my first year with Rip. He met with me, I was comfortable with his demeanor and just got my tax packet for 2023. I highly recommend Rip and will continue to use him as my CPA.

We have used Rip for a few years now. Last year we submitted our taxes and after checking on them a couple of times to see if they were ready, we were told by Rip that he needed to ask for an extension. Well that means that we would be charged a penalty. Soon afterward, I received a bill from the State. I called Rip and he had me submit the bill to him. His attitude wasn’t too great, but I assume he took care of it because I heard nothing else. I assume that the Federal Government charged a late fee too. Anyway, this year we have not received our usual package from Rip (copy of last years taxes) and don’t expect too. We were not going to use him anyway because the previous years taxes were almost late. So he basically drops us as a client because he did not do last years taxes in a timely manner. How professional of him.

First time ever using a CPA to file my taxes. Friendly, knowledgeable, and they were able to save me a considerable amount of money. I typically use an online service like TurboTax, however if you have anything above and beyond a basic filing, highly recommended that you reach out to Walters and Walters.
