The elder Mr. Moore set a high bar for excellence in his work, and after his passing his son and the rest of the people who work there still maintain his high standards. The booklet they prepare of completed tax forms is like a work of art. This is an old-school family business that is completely current and up-to-date in everything they have ever done for me. I don't think you can do any better.

I have used E W Moore & Company for both my business and personal taxes for the past two years and have had such a wonderful experience with them! From a first-year small business owner, I wasn't sure what all was involved in taxes and what I needed or what I needed to do and Eric walked me through every step of the way. He was extremely helpful, informative, and helped me to prepare for the following year of my business! He graciously answered all of my many questions promptly and helped lead me in the right direction! Once I had everything prepared, Eric took care of the rest and I didn't have to worry! Working with Eric has been a great experience and I would highly recommend them!

I have used E W Moore & Company for going on four years, for both business and personal tax needs. Not only was Eric knowledgeable, timely and affordable, but, he was extremely patient with me as a new business owner with a LOT of questions. Since moving out of state I have continued to use Eric for both business and personal taxes. It would have been just as easy for me to find someone in Chicago, but the slight inconvenience of doing business via fax/email/phone was WELL worth the comfort in knowing that my taxes would be completed accurately and by someone I trust. In addition to my normal personal income taxes, I have since taken on a rental property (in another state) and again Eric has been a perfect guide through all of the nuances I would not be able to (or want to) work through on my own. I highly recommend E W Moore & Company to anyone looking for the most basic personal tax needs or more complex business needs!
