It took a lot of terrible bookkeepers and accountants to find Flat Top. I have multiple businesses and a pretty complicated set of books. Finding a talented company to handle my P&L statements and understanding my complex business model (I thought) was impossible. I met Mark @ Flat Top through my CPA. They highly recommended Mark and his staff so I reached out. The communication with anyone you speak to at Flat Top is exceptional. Mark, the owner, took on my account to be sure the books would be done right and the transition to someone on his staff would be seamless. A few months later Mark introduced me to Maegan. Maegan was to handle all of my bookkeeping needs...and this is no small task. I was apprehensive to have anyone but Mark handle my books and boy was I wrong. Maegan has worked directly with my CPA, who has commended her numerous time on her attention to detail and competency. My CPA has no affiliation with Flat Top, and to hear this from a [potential] competitor was refreshing. Working with Maegan the past couple of years has been a game changer for me and my businesses. Having someone to call (who actually picks up the phone) and answer all your questions is something I don't take lightly. I found Flat Top after a few pretty terrible experiences. Enough to know how lucky I am to be working with such a talented group of folks who have your best interests in mind. They have a client for life.
