Let’s start with gross negligence. Apparently, forgetting to file a W2 is downplayed a lot here even if you have provided all the correct documents including this elusive W2…Yes, they really received ALL the required documents for filing taxes and they blatantly tried to shift all of the blame and responsibility to the customer. Bottomline: They waste your time and your money because of potential interest rates that they are not responsible for so you essentially have to pay the IRS with no warning and you have to pay at least a few hundred dollars on top of that (fees/interest from a potential payment plan). They won’t pay for it so that’s basically making you take the fall for their human error. They'll also joke about it right in front of your face making it seem like you did something wrong. Now I’d like to ask you (Liberty Hacks) some simple questions: 1. How do you miss a W2 when you work with TAXES??? 2. Why don’t you take ownership of your mistakes? 3. Why haven't you refunded the service that you failed to do correctly? (You didn't do your job so give your customers their money back.) 4. Why do you have to be so rude and disrespectful to your customers? Takeaways: 1. They cannot be trusted with tax information. 2. They use wording that makes it seem like it’s all your fault for their mistakes and they are perfect. They are also very slow in getting back to you and have irregular hours that are not always the same on facebook, google, and their front door. (They're basically flakey in the updated hours and communication department.) 3. They have no moral or ethical values because they don’t take ownership over their mistakes and they don’t believe in apologies. You’ll never get a genuine “sorry” from them, because they only care about getting your money. Oh yeah, and their customer service is terrible. IF you decide to use this business make sure they get it right because YOU will have to pay for their mistakes with your time and energy and they won’t even apologize. Here are some things that their website claims: “Our offices will give you the most accurate return and the largest possible refund you are entitled to receive. If the office makes an error in the preparation of your return that results in penalties and interest, the office will reimburse you for the associated penalty and interest initially assessed.” So let’s look at this deeper: if they make a mistake they claim that they will cover all of the fees, however, you will still owe money to the IRS and I bet you will not be too thrilled to find out that you now owe a lot of money for their mistakes. Basically they can cause you a huge inconvenience and they will show no remorse for their mistake but the biggest sin is the interest that you will have to pay if you go with their recommended payment plan and they won’t give you a dime. Here is another good one: “We're not just local tax experts, we're your neighbors, and we're here to serve you. We take pride in the products and services we provide and are willing to go the extra mile for you and your family. Find out why our clients choose us year after year for tax planning and preparation.” These are the kind of neighbors that will make your misfortune seem like a lighthearted joke. At the end of the day, they don’t really care about you, they just need your money and after they get it they won’t go the extra mile or even apologize for their mistakes because if they REALLY did, you wouldn’t be reading any of this. I don’t know how this place got up to a 4.9 on google reviews, it doesn’t seem to accurately represent the truth about how they do business and I think the Tyler community deserves better. By the way, if you click on all the one star reviews, you will find a couple of other people who wrote reviews about the same issue so there is your evidence of common human error. Yeah, never again…just use turbo tax or go with someone you know, regardless let’s stop giving them chances to be awful.

Showed direct disrespect to the customers without showing remorse. This was the worst I’ve ever experienced out of a company.
