What an amazing staff! Each and every person i have worked with has been such a pleasure! Liza Ortiz has helped me with 3 particular IRS issues- 2 involving me and 1 involving my mother. All 3 were handled beautifully ( and positively). Their attention and speedy results should be refreshing to anyone in this "hard-to-navigate" world of taxes!!! Katie took us on just before tax season began and helped us through a complicated transition last year. And now after working together for a full year, Katie and team have clearly differentiated themselves from alternative options. They run a well defined process, top to bottom, asking lots of questions and setting you and your business up for success. They have made tax season less stressful, helped guide me and my business through changes to our structure, advised on tax changes with getting married, and saved us quite a bit of money along the way. Katie came highly recommended from a friend and small business owner in Orlando. I thought she would be local and was surprised she wasn't but still wanted the guidance from her and she agreed. The first year I had lots of questions and was surprised when I wasn't just dealing with her but now a team of people that wasn't on the same page with answering my questions. Everytime I emailed someone different would reply and left me very confused. And if I got a response from Katie it was almost as if she was annoyed I had questions. 2022 Taxes came and I got set up with a zoom call to explain how everything lined up and it made me feel better... until this year rolled around and no one contacted me for anything. I finally reach out and they contacted an entire different email address never notified me I had to pay even more in taxes that I did through the year already and after I then asked to terminate my services got a snarky reply back that it was estimated the year before..when?? ( isn't it your job to find me deductions and help me as a small business owner to not drowned in taxes) and you upped your fee after putting everything on an automatic service. Seriously what was I paying for? I wish I had a better experience and I wish her and her team the best but as a small business owner more help would have been better but im still left in the dark when it comes to things.

When I initially engaged Katie Lomness for accounting services, her reputation preceded her, endorsed by numerous professionals in the entertainment industry with whom I collaborated in Orlando. Initially, her approach was marked by a delightful blend of warmth, affordability, and personalized attention, making her a standout choice. Regrettably, as her firm expanded over time, the hallmark traits that once distinguished her service have diminished significantly. What was once a personalized experience has transformed into a more impersonal and notably more expensive endeavor. Many of those I knew who once lauded her services have now sought alternatives due to similar experiences. This review serves as a poignant reminder that while growth is natural for any business, it should never come at the expense of the personalized care and attention that initially drew clients in. At this juncture, the service feels akin to using TurboTax, lacking the personal touch that was once its defining feature.
