This company is trying to charge me to amend my 2022 taxes. They failed to ask me to provide a 1098 because they assumed it would not make a difference based on 2021 Texas. Instead of asking for all relevant documents, as even turbo tax does, they are blaming me and want me to pay for the amendment We are human and all make mistakes. What differentiates people is how they chose yo correct their mistake. This one-star review is all because they are not willing to acknowledge and rectify their error. Shame on them!

They have done our taxes since we moved to Texas. They helped us work through a headache of a return when we first moved here since we had never dealt with capital gains tax before. We are very thankful for them. It doesn’t always work out to do your own taxes online. You may think you can do it yourself, but really you’re creating more of a costly headache for yourself later. We were so grateful they helped us work through everything 4+ years ago. They ended up saving us more money in the long run. Now, we always are owed a return! Seeing the amount of negative reviews here is shocking because we’ve never had a bad experience with them. We’ve been using their services for close to 5 years. They clearly state their fees, and I believe they’re fairly priced for the amount of hours they spend on people’s paperwork. I recommend their services to all my friends and will continue to use them. Be cautious of the negative reviews. Some people don’t like hearing the truth that they’ve made previous mistakes on their taxes or withholdings, or forgot to file a pertinent piece of paper and want to blame the messenger. This firm knows what they’re doing and we trust them with our taxes.

These knuckleheads want a $200 shake down fee before they will tell you their outrages rates This is a super shady business practice and does not set a good precedence with a potential new client Call around before committing. Most other cpas either have their rates listed on their websites or they will offer a free 30 minute consultation

My wife used this group even though we have minimal work and could be done easily online. She liked the idea of using a professional In my opinion they are over priced, hard to get ahold of, and blame their oversights/poor questioning on their client. Negative Professionalism

I have used other accountants who are expensive, don’t really listen, or both. Brian Huber at Ray CPA has been helpful to me for personal taxes first, then to help me make plans for a new corporation. I liked the way he listened, explained, thought through, and researched the tax implications of all my choices, and then how the firm has taken care of the niggly things I don’t have time for. On top of that, my mom moved to him after I said how much I liked him, and he charged HALF of what my mom’s other accountant was charging - they kept acting like she still had some complicated ranch and land arrangements that she had long completed, yet as simple as her affairs are now, they charged her the same as before. We were happy with how Brian and Ray CPA charged much more appropriately and affordably.

I went there tried to file my company taxes first of all they didn’t tell me how much they would charged they asked me for some informations bank statements,then a month later I received an email With an invoice for $ 3,600.00 when I callled and asked was it a mistake I was told that they did the book keeping so I was charged $ 3,600.00 I didn’t asked for them to keep the book my taxes weren’t file so they’re threatening me about taking me to court that’s crazy I would advise everyone to stay away from that place this people is trying to rob me without a gun.once again I would advise everyone to stay away from that place.

Josh is professional and has always done my taxes in a expert manner. As issues do arise sometimes, Josh is willing to do the right thing by his customers.
