I have a complicated small business and moved accounting to Mr. Miranda 4 years ago. He quickly determined I had been over paying my taxes and I was being over charged by my previous tax preparer. Most recently, and why I am now posting this review, is that he has proactively reached out to me with reminders on my voucher schedules and surveying me for my 2020 tax preparations. I have been a business owner for over 40 years and have hired several different tax professionals over the course of those years. Bill Miranda is by far the most professional, knowledgeable and reliable. I really can't say enough good things about him and would rate him with 10 stars if allowed. We are a small family owned corporation with about 16 employees; we have a few different real estate holdings in our LLC, and we also have our personal returns. Bill handles all of our needs with the utmost care and top notch business acumen. He prepares our monthly reports and is always available with advice or to handle special requests. He and his staff are personable, kind and respectful. When I price shopped for a CPA several years ago, I found Miranda CPA PLLC to be the most competitive. Even though we are not located in the same state, I was more than happy to contract with them after speaking to Bill personally. I look forward to many years continuing with this successful relationship.

We have used Miranda to do our personal and business taxes for ten years. He has had to deal with out of state accountants on our behalf and schooled some on them in the tax laws for their own state. He is super responsive which very important to us. Calls and emails are answered without delay. He takes the time to explain complex issues and tax ramifications of moves you might be pondering. I highly recommend Miranda but only to people I like. I can say his fees are comparable to our last accountant but his knowledge and customer service are superior.

I have used Bill Miranda to be both my personal and company accountant and tax preparer since 2016. He helped me set up my Quickbooks system for the company when I started my hospice billing service and he is very responsive to my questions throughout the year. I use the Tax Organizer form he provides year to year to help me organize my personal information during the year and enables me to be ready for tax season. His service reminds me when company tax forms are due so I don't miss tax deadlines. I recommend Bill to any company or individual needing an accountant and/or tax preparer.

Miranda CPA has been preparing my companies' financial statements, returns, and my personal return for 11-12 years. Their principal, who is always available for consultation, is a former tax partner at one of the Big Five firms. Suffice it to say, they know the law inside and out. Further, they are prompt and thorough. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

William wanted to charge me $700 for an amended return after I gave him $50 for a FREE consultation that took less than 30 minutes in good faith. Another CPA charged me $200 for the same thing and got me a nice return. William seems knowledgeable but his pricing was alot higher when shopping around in my experience. If you do go see him, compare his rates with other CPAs offering the same service before hiring him to make sure you’re paying a fair price. ****Response to owner: William, I offered to pay for your free consultation in consideration of your time which you admittedly accepted. I took up your time and happily paid for it, I do not need you to refund me. I want to make it clear this review is not because you did not have the capacity to work with me. My characterization of your fees are just as good as the justification you gave me of your fees. When I asked why your services would be ~$700 you simply gave me a breakdown: “x price per property + y price for filling”. For the record I had 3 properties in 2017. I had spoken with 3 other CPAs and you were by far the highest by more than double. I don’t know how you do business in your life but when I’m paying higher than usual prices, I would like to know what value I’m getting out of it. And you William, failed at communicating that to me. On a side note, I find your response highly unprofessional.
