I've been using this firm since 2011, both for personal and corporate tax planning and preparation (we have 10 entities including partnerships and c-corps). I've always been satisfied with Montoya's work. Due to her many years of work outside of public accounting, I feel that she better understands our business better than the public accountants I've worked with in the past. I was referred to this firm and would gladly refers other to them as well.

During our initial consultation we discussed our needs and expectations unfortunately Monzingo Montoya could not even meet what we were told they could do for our company. lots of inaccuracies and issues that created Red flags with the IRS.These mistakes ended up costing our company Time and money not to mention all the issues with the IRS.

I've used the firm for several years. In the last couple of years the principal owners have changed. I had another CPA firm review my recent tax returns and found omissions in the last couple of returns that were so obvious that even I should have caught them. I made the mistake of blind trust. It's been a week and still no response to several phone calls and messages asking for Montoya, who is responsible for my account, to please explain her reasoning for the way my return was prepared. A five minute phone call would have sufficed but apparently they are too busy for a loyal client of 12 years. Anyway, lesson learned and moving on. Buyer Beware!
