The level of unprofessionalism directed toward myself and my wife by Sarah McCutchan is staggering. Two days before the filing deadline for my business taxes she abruptly blew up on us and informed us that her firm was no longer servicing my account. We were unaware of the business filing deadline so in order to get everything filed on time we sent several emails back to back asking questions, needing clarification, normal emails and questions that were all courteous and polite but clearly we were stressed. She proceeded to blow up on us and locked us out of the client portal and informed us that she would only send documentation to our new CPA. Two days before my taxes were due she left us absolutely stranded with no possible hope of getting a new CPA in time. I had to step into the email conversation and practically beg her to finish and file our business return, which she did. The unporfessionalism continued afterward as she refused to call me or meet with me.

Sarah McCutchan CPA was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with anyone. Her unprofessionalism is unthinkable. She held our tax return hostage literally locked me out of the tax portal Friday evening when the business filing was due the following Monday. After she locked me out she sent an email essentially saying find someone else to complete your filing. My husband had to beg to get the documents from her. Lies about clients is unprofessional and especially to put clients in an impossible position when being paid. We are currently in the process of getting everything reviewed by a new CPA has already found many mistakes as the return was not done correctly. Sarah McCuutchan refuses to retrieve and return any documents by my previous CPA that was given to her back in January.

In the first quarter of 2023, my former accountant informed me that she was no longer going to continue to be in service and she desired to take a totally different career path. The process was very easy and Sarah was extremely responsive. She made filing taxes much less stressful.
