The staff are nice and quick to respond via email. However, when we had our consult we were not told that our taxes wouldn’t be filed until the invoice was paid. The invoice was 3 times what other CPA offices charge, and we aren’t getting nearly as much back as we do when we file our own taxes. Just really disappointed with this whole experience

Mike helped prepare our tax return. We submitted all of our information by the March 15 deadline, but he made us file an extension, so our taxes weren't filed until June. Upon receiving our taxes for review, I discovered 21 mistakes. Once those mistakes were corrected, our tax bill was reduced by $6,000. Unless you are rich and don't mind overpaying on your taxes, don't use McFarlane and Associates. They take on too many clients and are unable to prepare returns correctly or in a timely manner.
