Offered me additional services for bookkeeping for my business but not needed just yet. I look forward to using them time and time again in the future. Keep up the great work over there!!!

Very unprofessional. THEY WILL FALSIFY YOUR RETURN TO GET PAID. I completely trusted that services would be accurately filed, so I did not feel the need to examine my documents until the IRS decided to audit my 2022 taxes. Rogers Daniels falsified my taxes and claimed a business on my return without me even sending him any information on owning a business. It wasn't until the IRS contacted me that I looked over my taxes, and Rogers had listed $11K in business claims on my return. I have since contacted him THREE TIMES via email to correct HIS falsified claim, and he has ignored me on all occasions. Prior to this, he would always respond to my emails within an hour as long as he was getting paid for services. DO NOT USE THIS TAX SERVICE. They will falsify your information and will completely ignore you when confronted.

If I could give zero stars I would. I filed my 2021 taxes in October last year (that's on me). I did get my documents back and knowing that I filed late knew it would take longer to get my return back. Well weeks have turned into months and I still haven't gotten it back. He was somewhat responsive at first but as time has gone on. He's come up with excuses from I'll be up at the office on this date. To I'm having family issues. So I waited a couple of days past his said date to contact him. He refuses to answer phone calls and barely responds to texts. Whenever he does respond to my texts it's with the excuses I listed above. I called the IRS office a month or so back because I've grown tired of waiting on a pipe dream. Whenever I contacted the IRS about the status of my claim for 2021. They proceeded to tell me that no claim for that year has been filed. I messaged him once more since then about a month ago and have been completely ignored. I wouldn't suggest him to anyone. Considering he gives you your alleged claim status back. But according to the IRS he never filed it. I'll trust the IRS to tell me the truth over this guy.

He never completed taxes for 2021 after waiting from March until Mid August 2022. We contacted him late July to check in and he kept pushing a week more and a week more. Told him we would not use him for 2022 or 2023 bookkeeping and to only complete 2021 after multiple delays. He stated he would shred our documents and he wouldn't complete 2021 either. We asked him to return our original documents we gave him. This was the real problem he wouldn't return our original docs. We would still pay for 2021 work. He ghosted us. He took out whatever stress he was going through on us. They were our originals documents. We now have to get all our 1099s w2s etc. Called irs and we are told he violated a rule for tax professionals and we have the text to prove it. He can be at least monetarily fined. Spoke with an attorney and we can likely be compensated for the time we lost getting duplicates. Shredding documents was the problem. Correction: we can do all this offline for sure but you ghosted us. We just want the original documents. So to respond to his comment via text we contacted him about bookkeeping in March and turned in our w2s, 1099s on April 8 to him. Previous accountant had completed through October 2021 so he had November and December 2021 to complete. He said no problem at that time. We took his word and didnt worry at all. July came and we thought better check in see where hes at. No problem. Had a nice conversation. We liked this guy. A week then another week goes by and he said ivshould have told you id be out for all of July. We said yes honesty is best. I think he took that wrong. We said we'll maybe he's going through sone stress so maybe we should get another accountant next year. So we didn't want him to start on our bookkeeping for 2022 and said hey just finish up this year. This review was solely posted because of the act of requesting the originals be returned, being ghosted, and told he was shredding the docs. We were ready to pay in full his fee for 2021. Even if he had started bookkeeping for 2022. But he was done with us. I don't want to do this publicly at all. We used his service once before and he did great. He really dies good work but shredding documents is not ok. We found another accountant next day but this is his first reply since ghosting. We will gladly remove the post if he will mail us the documents. We don't like this either. We don't want to do it this way. Attached are the irs rules on original document return. We have not filed any complaint to the irs, nor with the franchise, but have the forms. We have not submitted official legal demand yet either for the docs be returned.

I have had my taxes prepared by Rogers Daniels for the last 2 years. He is wonderful, I look forward to working with him again this year!
