Amending my earlier review. About 3 years ago the service we got from BKPR went south fast. Have to wait months to get my monthly financial statements and then I asked a simple question about a previous tax return and was asked to spend more money. Stay away.

We took a chance by hiring this company. They knew exactly what to do, who to talk to at the IRS, and basically just did everything. It went from a very negative situation with the IRS before we hired them to a closed case a few months later. It was great!

It is daunting talking to tax people and hard to tell if they really know what they are doing. Having met with Empowered, I can say that you know an expert who has a passion for what they do when when you meet them. So don't bother looking any further. Just hire Empowered and get going.
