This company is scamming their clients, taking their money and not completing the services. Read their google and BBB reviews and you'll see I'm not alone in this discovery-- I paid for Genovations Accounting services in Dec 2023 (see receipt) and they've stopped responding to my follow-up requests. Gabby was my main point of contact. Very disappointing and evil behavior. EDIT: Genovations has responded here, but not to my emails. As of today, 9/5/24, I've requested a full and complete refund for all "services" since Dec 2023 due to incompletion and I will need to seek and pay another company to complete my taxes & accounting as Genovations cannot be trusted.

It's rare that I leave a negative review for a company considering I have a small business myself, but I want to warn people so that what happened to us doesn't happen to anyone else. One star is one start too many, If I could leave 0 stars, I would. This was our first year with Genovations Accounting (and now our last) and they were going to do our small business partnership taxes and my personal taxes. Long story short- they did not prepare my personal taxes right, causing them to have to file an extension for both my personal and business taxes. No big deal.. things happen. After they realized that they were missing the K1 for my personal taxes, they went completely MIA. I reached out via email, phone, and voicemail on countless different occasions for over a month and had no communication regarding ANYTHING. I wasn't even sure they filed the extensions. Finally, Gabby reached out and said they had an admin that wasn't doing her job & she had been fired. Gabby got our business taxes knocked out fairly quick after that and said she would begin to prepare my personal taxes. That was May 28th that she said she would have my personal taxes sent over for review that afternoon and I have yet to hear from her or been able to get into contact with her. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB due to not getting a response from Genovations Accounting. For the love of everything holy, please do yourself a favor and DO NOT let Genovations Accounting have anything to do with your taxes.

I hardly leave reviews, however below is an extremely unfortunate timeline of events I have had since working with Genovations Accounting. This was my second year with the company. I have reached out to Genovations Accounting via email, phone, and voicemail on countless different occasions throughout the past few months and have had extremely poor communication in receiving a resolution to fix my husband and I's tax return that was filed incorrectly. There was a total of $3k that was missed on our most recent tax return. The previous year's tax return was also missing thousands of dollars due to several W-2's being left off, however I thankfully noticed the errors prior to submitting. I have been highly displeased with Genovations thus far and I am frustrated with the customer service when clients such as ourselves are paying such a large fee for a specialized service. I have officially filed a complaint with the BBB due to not getting a response from Genovations Accounting and the problem has yet to be fixed. See statement below: "On 12/22/2023 I placed a $150 deposit for Genovations Consulting to do my taxes for 2023. On 3/01/2024 I paid the remaining fee of 309.27 for Genovations to file my husband and I's joint tax return. On 3/11/2024 the IRS paid my husband and I a deposit. On 3/4/2024 I reached back out to Genovations Consulting via email and noted my husband's mileage wasn't written off correctly on the previous tax return. On 3/6/2024 Genovations Accounting said they would file an amendment at no cost to me and that it would increase our return by $3k. Genovations Accounting said they submitted the amended return on 3/14/24. On 4/22/24 I reached out via email to Genovations and said I hadn't received my amended deposit from the IRS so I was inquiring further. Genovations said they were "checking into this" however they have completely stopped responding to my emails and phone calls. Throughout the past several weeks I have called the company multiple times, left several voicemails, and sent several additional emails, however I have received no further communication from them. I have all email receipts with specific dates available upon request. I would like assistance in filing the amended return and receiving the rest of my deposit from the IRS. Thank you." I do not recommend working with Genovations Accounting.

Gabby is an absolute pro. She brings the energy and knowledge you need to meet your appropriate tax liabilities. 10/10 would recommend. Going on year two with this group.
