Bryce handles all my personal taxes, small business taxes and rental property taxes! Holly always answers the phone and answers every silly question I have. For those looking for a fantastic organization, BIG should be your number 1 choice! I have been using BIG account for 5+ years both personally and for my business/ business’s, even my kids use BIG. Moved to the beach in 2009, and had to find a top notch team to help us, accounting is such a critical piece of our business. Personally, do not write many reviews but this team is truly deserving. What initially drew me to this firm was the owner Bryce. Being Bryce added additional value with his past experience with business brokerage insurance etc. , this additional value to be able to bounce business ideas off set him apart. Being we had customers and revenue streams in multiple states, I always felt like we were a needy customer, but was always treated with a HIGH level of service I feel is rare these days. Bryce was also a HUGE help in 2022 when I sold one of my companies. Really was vital to the entire process! Everyone here has always been responsive, friendly, and eager to help. Whether it’s had been inquiry about payroll, Covid “rebates”, or accounting deduction questions concerns I always felt in great hands. We have been using BIG for our tax preparation for the past 3 years and were very pleased with them, Brice, the owner, did our taxes and never had a question about missing papers or anything else; however this year he turned our info over to his young assistant and he said he was missing information that we knew was in our folder when we gave it to Brice the previous week. I had put together a paper with all the information taken from the papers in our folder and he did not understand if I had included what Social Security took out for Medicare in my figure and I told him I just put down the amount that was deposited into our bank account each month but he asked me over and over before I told him to get the statement from SS out of our folder and check it, he said “I have it right here”, then why did we just waste 15 minutes with him asking over and over if the Medicare deducted was included in my figure? He needed another document that was missing and when we got home I went through our file for that investment company and found our copy so I knew the original was in the folder. We called to give him some information about another piece of mail that was here when we got home and he started about the form he was missing again and I had not looked in the folder yet to tell him we found it, my husband was on the phone with him and finally told him we would call him back because at that point he was disgusted with him, said goodbye and hung up. Today we went down to the office to give him our copy of the statement he said he did not have and the owner was there when we walked in and said hi and then said, “we will no longer be doing your taxes because of the way you spoke to Kaleb on the phone”, and I said “Rich told him he would call Him back because he was disgusted with him at that point”, said goodbye and hung bye. He said “that is why you are not our clients any longer so get out” I questioned him as to why he would not hear our side of the story, he said just get out opened the door and handed us our folder and waved us out and shut the door,. He has always been very nice but when the employee comes first and we do not know what else he made up because my husband telling him he was disgusted with him was not a threat and that was all he said so nothing to warrant him “firing us”, but we already have another firm that we made an appointment with for next week and you sit with them and our taxes will be finished and filed electronically when we leave.
