Please do not have your taxes done at Altland. They are a total rip off. There are so many awesome tax places to go in York. They charge outrageous prices and don’t inform you of the ridiculous prices they charge up front.

My wife and I got our taxes done here. The account filed incorrectly for us and instead of married filing separately she put us in as married filing jointly. Because of this or refund went to my wife's student loans. This was a mistake on her part. She should have known better. However after dealing with her on the phone a few times and getting a run around I spoke with the office manager. She very quickly dealt with our problem and we came to a fair resolution. I will give them another chance because they let the accountant that messed up go.

What a disappointing experience. The staff was nice, but lacked professionalism. Accountants are supposed to be precise and detailed oriented. Clearly not the case. They were given all the appropriate information. I wanted direct deposit and gave my banking information. Assumed everything was fine. Still not refund. When I inquired, I was told I did not provide banking information. I had email confirmation from them proving I provided the information.While it’s not the end of the world, I paid well over $200 for sloppy work.
