Accounting Services of York has been an incredible partner for all my accounting needs. They handle my taxes, bookkeeping, and payroll with expertise and attention to detail. David is thorough and knowledgeable about both personal and business taxes, and the entire team, including Devin, Elayne, and others at ASY, always make sure Im well taken care of. This was such an unprofessional experience. I contacted David Riggs to initially file an IRS form to reinstate our Non profit status. As easy as it sounds, he has failed to file the CORRECT papers to the IRS. I have been contacting him for over a year to check on the status, and he never ONCE returned a phone call or gave me status updates. Yet, I was patient, kept calling to try and get a hold of him, and the sweet older lady receptionist even felt bad and kept apologizing for him. So I took it upon myself to hire another accountant and explained the whole situation. He has went above and beyond to get a hold of the IRS on the phone ( while i was with him listening) and they told us that the application David Riggs did was wrong and it was denied right away. They helped us with the right application and all the paper work we have to mail to the IRS in order for us to get our Non profit status up to date. After one month, I have received the letter from the IRS that we are good to go! I called David Riggs to explain to him that you have done the wrong application for us and had me waiting for a whole year to get an answer when it was denied right away because of his negligence of not filling the correct papers. during that year our organization missed out on grant opportunities for my KIDS and the new building we just acquired!!! Grants were suppose to help with the building and all the other expenses. He still claims that he has done nothing wrong and is now completely ignoring my calls. Although he still cant admit his wrong doing, and mistaken my kindness and respect to him and his staff while all this going on for weakness, this incident will hurt his integrity down the road. He failed to realize how well connected I'm and my network of professionals in this city. I have made some phone calls to quite a few prominent figures that referred me to him and know him, and they were very unhappy with what he did. I hope this was a lesson for him to do the right thing next time and treat everyone with respect.

Accounting Services of York has done my taxes ,and the taxes of some of my family members, for years. They have always submitted my tax returns quickly upon receipt of all of my documents. Submitting my documents, and signing any forms necessary for my taxes, is can be done completely online therefore I can complete the process fast and easily. I will continue to use Accounting Services of York for many years to come and highly recommend them for anyone needing fast and reliable accounting or tax services.

I retained David to file my father's final tax returns. I have always prepared my taxes myself, so working with an accountant was a new experience. Overall, I was satisfied with the service. Communication with the front office staff was shaky (had to follow up several times on my initial questions, the email containing portal link to upload docs was sent to wrong email and I had to follow up), but David himself was communicative, flexible, understanding of my specific circumstances, and ultimately, accurate. At the end of the day, the returns were filed on time.

I have been a client of Davids for a number of years now. Since Im a typical psychologist, Im not that great with numbers. Therefore, I needed an entrusted accountant who could babysit me (so to speak lol) through the process each year.
