Steve Barr was extremely unprofessional and hung up on me. Steve was not attentive, not interested in the slightest in being proactive with us. We turned over our taxes in February and eventually replied to our emails stating (3/13/24) "we have a month, plenty of time" to complete our taxes. On the final day of taxes due (April 15), he completed our taxes saying we owe $7000 by today. I don't know if our taxes were too insignificant or complicated for him, but he failed to provide adequate communication that would have guided and educated us, and ultimately helped us avoid the situation we are in. Further, when speaking to Steve on the phone (4/15/24), he said "there was nothing he could do" to help our situation and he had "other things he needed to do," then hung up on me. When I called back, Eric answered the phone and said he was the accountant that worked on our paperwork. Eric explained more to us in 1 minute than Steve ever took the time to do. Eric was absolutely amazing and did explain a few options that, apparently, Steve was not aware of or cared to explain to us. We will never be going back to them again.

Mr. Wachter was so helpful. Answered all questions we had and gave us additional input that we never had thought about. Empathetic to our needs, very knowledgeable and very professional. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.
