Overwhelmed business. I met in November to start a relationship with them for 2023 taxes. Ignored emails. Gave apologies with a promised phone call...never happened. Moving on.

Wish I had read these reviews first. I have a simple tax return but needed help this year because I was working out of state and was unsure how to report that. I gave them all my information, including W2, on February 3. It is now April 11. IRS reports they haven't received my return, neither did PA or NJ. Zero response from Email, Phone messages and texts. To top it off, I already paid them. Live and learn I guess, but infuriating to deal with such unprofessional people.

Yet again, we get a notice from the IRS about penalties from 2021 when Salabsky did our taxes. We were told that they filed for an extension but clearly they did not because we have been fined. It was a headache during the process with them and it continues now 3 years later. I do not know what happened with their company, it was good the 1st year but awful after that.

I've been taking my taxes to Salabsky Financial for 3 years, and I'm extremely satisfied. I'm a 1099/self employed filer, and Scott is great with knowing all the ins and outs to the VERY complicated tax code. Highly recommended.

I have been using Salabsky Financial for many years. They have the best service, always answer all of my questions, and expedite my returns quickly. I refer all of my friends, clients, and coworkers to use them. I work with many self-employed people and investors. Scott is beyond knowledgeable with the never ending government changes in preparing tax returns.

Scott & Ally are very professional & thorough. They get your taxes done fast! Very responsive. Very affordable. Very helpful! I had no knowledge of taxes and they took the time to ensure I understood.

My husband and I have pretty complex taxes as my husband is self employed, however Scott saves the day each year by completing our taxes correctly and efficiently. He is so busy, yet still makes time to answer our questions in between his other client appointments. Super impressed with his work ethic and knowledge! Thanks Salabsky Financial!

These company is horrible. They dont answer the phone, they dont return the phone call, they take forever to complete the forms, they dont make the appointment, they make simple errors and the same errors over and over again, but worst of all Scott doesnt take responsibility for his repeated errors. I found errors and I had another preparer find MORE errors. Filing the wrong status, incorrect profession and over a thousand dollars in adding the federal with-holdings. And worst of all, refusal to own the errors. I wish I could give a rating of less the 1! These errors have cost me a lot of $$$.

Background: I had Scott Salabsky prepare my 2022 tax returns. Cons: I sat with an intern when I picked up my returns and had to write down questions I had for Scott. It took weeks of contact to finally speak with Scott. Scott is not responsive to phone calls, text messages, or emails. I was then hit with a penalty for the tax assessment for the returns and Scott has not been helpful to date. The business is more about volume than serving the client . No urgency at all in responding to the client. Pros: fast in preparing the returns. Cost to prepare is lower than others in the area. Conclusion: I will not be returning to Salabsky Financial as a client, ever.
