I have used the staff at the Medford office of Capstone CPA for many years. They have always been very helpful and accurately prepare my annual tax returns. Most recently Raeanna Rood has worked with me and she has been very helpful.

Tax payer beware! One star is too many for Russ Cramer, CPA. Cramer & Associates, apparently now Capstone, was my accounting firm for more than ten years, and that was my mistake in not taking my business elsewhere sooner than I did. From Oregon distraint warrants to IRS liens, Russ was responsible for so many mistakes through the years, I can't list them. Last year he failed to file a W2, W3, Multnomah County tax, Portland tax, and never even heard of the Trimet tax. Can you believe it? Although he was always paid in full immediately after providing returns and services, he will not acknowledge these mistakes and I had to engage another accountant to clean up the mess/es. I feel sorry for his staff.

Most unprofessional accounting firm we have ever used. Took six months to file our taxes. They filed an extension the day before they were due, we had all our papers to them In February. Several errors caused additional delays than an IRS audit. No help with the audit, the audit was again from another error from the previous year in filing for more than allowed mortgage interest. The audit cost us over 5000.00 in fines with the IRS. They also made an error on our business tax forms which they gave us to file for the wrong year. After Russ told us there was NO WAY they could have done that, they made me prove it. After several hours on the phone with Oregon Dept of Revenue, and getting pictures of the documents that Russ sent us to file. I sent Russ the proof. No apology no nothing. They take no responsibility for their actions. I would not Recommend for personal or professional accounting.

Excellent people to work with! My family highly recommends Cramer & Associates, they are ethical, friendly & committed to providing the best customer service. Russ takes the time to answer all our questions. We've been with him for over 10+ years & appreciate all he does. If you want it done right, this is the place to go. :-).
